Microsoft Windows Phone Identity System

While at McCann we redesigned the Windows Phone identity as Microsoft moved from category to brand. This was the launch of the Windows button on phones and so the button played a large role in these designs. This was during the era of Windows Vista, prior the launch of the Metro UI system in use today. Microsoft wanted an identity system that featured their four logo colors and also could be re-colored to match select offers in-store from their channel partners like T-mobile, Vodaphone, Orange, and even manufactures of Windows Phones, like Samsung. The result was a flexible system of colorways that could be mixed and match as needed.
